Quilting 102 - I made my first Quilt ..Now what? In Class



In this series of workshops students will learn many techniques for creating half square triangles, quarter square triangles and flying geese blocks.  Each workshop will stress one technique.  Students will also receive several patterns for blocks using these units.  
Students will also explore the "math" of quilting.

Session 1 - Half Square Triangles
Session 2 - Quarter Square Triangles
Session 3 - Flying Geese
Session 4 - Putting a quilting together...with sashing or not, straight set or on-point setting.


Skill Level: Beginner
Skill Details:
Requirements: Sewing machine in good working order, basic sewing/rotary cutting supplies, 12 fat quarters of fabric + 3 yards background fabric. , 6 1/2" Square Ruler & 6" x 12" Straight Ruler
